iStat をはじめとして，この週末は面白いアプリがたくさん出て，有料無料合わせて10個ぐらい落としちゃいました。
Mac OS 用ソフトでおなじみのアプリケーションの iPhone 版も増えてきて，newsnonews なんかは最近購入した中ではいちばん起動しています。ニュース系では無料のものも出ていて人気もあるようですが，アイコンがあまりにもアレで，ちょっと....

Mac OS X でおなじみといえば日記作成アプリの viJournal のiPhone 版，viJournal M というのが出ていて，Mac 上の viJournal と連携できそうだったのでさっそく試してみました，が.....

Transfer of entries from viJournal M on your iPhone or iPod touch to viJournal on your Mac is a one-way process. Why is this so? Why isn't there full two-way synchronisation?

The simple answer is the extremely limited support for text in the iPhone operating system. It has support for plain text only. Sending an entry from viJournal to your iPhone would result in stripping away all text styling, including fonts, italics, colours, lists, tables, hyperlinks, graphics, and so on.

It is intended that two-way transfers will be implemented in the near future, but they will not involve full synchronisation until support for rich text is introduced to the iPhone OS. Furthermore, this option will probably not be available in the Lite version of viJournal.

ということだそうで，超訳すると，「Mac から iPhone/iPod touch に日記を送れないのは何でじゃ？それはね，iPhone/iPod touch はリッチテキストが扱えないからよ，坊や。iPhone OS がリッチテキストを扱えるようになったら同期機能を付けるかもね。でもその時は無料 Lite 版じゃなくて正式版を買ってちょ!!」というわけでした。
カレンダー風の UI がちょっと変わっていて，一種のメモとしても重宝しそうだとは思ったんですけれど。どちらかというと，iPhone/iPod touch で字を書くのが全然苦にならない，日記ももちろん毎日 iPhone/iPod touch で書くよ，という人向けのようです。
